← QuestPRIVACY / HOUSEHOLD EDITION
Your travel data.
Effective October 22, 2026. Applies to the private household configuration.
What Quest accesses
When you connect Gmail, Google grants read-only access to your mailbox. Quest searches for candidate travel messages, reads matching messages and attachments, and checks for subsequent changes. Google's permission covers the mailbox; the travel filter is applied by Quest and is not a separate Google access restriction.
Saved information can include email contents, sender and recipient details, booking references, traveler names, dates, addresses, itineraries, and ticket attachments. False-positive travel matches can be saved for review.
How information is used and stored
Quest uses this information to organize travel, show original booking sources, reconcile updates, and make saved trip information available offline. Sources and OAuth credentials are encrypted on the private home server. Itinerary records are stored in the private database; paired Android devices keep local copies for offline use. Household backups may retain copies.
The configured importer and document extraction run on the home server. Optional external AI, flight, and traffic services are not enabled in this configuration. Enabling services that receive travel information requires an updated disclosure.
Imported information is available to authorized household users and paired devices. Quest does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Quest's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can revoke Quest's Gmail access in your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized reads; it does not automatically erase information already saved on the server, phones, or backups.
Saved travel records are retained until removed by the household administrator. For access, correction, or removal of saved data, device copies, and backups, contact morgan@msgexplores.com.
